Labaiik Order Delivery Services L.L.C., (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”, “company”), based in Abu Dhabi, UAE is a limited liability company and the ‘data controller’ in respect of your personal information. We are a food and grocery delivery app that gets all your favorite meals and essential groceries delivered to you at your doorstep. You can order a variety of cuisines and shop for your groceries from the comfort of your smartphones. There is nothing more important than the privacy and satisfaction of our valued customers. We remain dedicated to the protection of the privacy and information of all users accessing or using our Labaiik mobile application (the “App”) and https://www.labaiik.com/ (“Website”).
The terms “you” and “your” refer to the user of our App. The term “Services” refers to any services offered by us, whether on the App or otherwise.
For the efficient provision of our services, Labaiik will require certain necessary information from you. This Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) provides information on the collection, use, disclosure, security, retention, access, updating, and other aspects relating to the information you provide us while accessing or using our App or Website.
This Notice is part of, incorporated within, and is to be read along with our Terms of Use.
When you access or use our App, you may be required to provide information about yourself. This information enables us to provide you with our Services like creating an account for you, the processing of your orders from the stores of your choice, arranging for the delivery of your order, facilitating your payment to the store you order from, and enhancing and updating our Services, etc.

Following the same importance that Labaiik places over your privacy mentioned at the start of this document, Labaiik assures you that all your data is handled and used with care and in complete accordance with the law. Labaiik will only use your personal data when the law allows us to do so. Most commonly, Labaiik will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
Furthermore, Labaiik may anonymize and/or de-identify information collected from you through the Services or via other means to create an analysis report on consumer behavior and trends. Since this report will be completely anonymous and will not contain your Identification or Profile Data, Labaiik may share such report with any third party for business purposes.
We will only process your personal information where we have a legal basis to do so. The legal basis will depend on the purposes for which we have collected and use your personal information. In almost every case the legal basis will be one of the following:
We use appropriate technical, organizational, and administrative security measures to protect any information we hold in our records from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
When you place your order for a product through our App, your information is shared with the restaurants/stores you choose. Such sharing of information is similar as if you had made an order directly with the restaurant/store for the purchase and delivery of a product.
Labaiik may further share the Data with aggregators who work with restaurants in order to list orders from several similar apps in one place. This enables restaurants to fulfill orders in an efficient manner by using a single platform.
Labaiik may share your information with any affiliates and subsidiaries for its internal business purposes, which may be located within or outside the United Arab Emirates. By your voluntary submission of information to us, you are consenting to the disclosure, transfer, and use of your personal information outside of the United Arab Emirates for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice. Labaiik will comply with the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates and take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that similar and/or comparable standards for data protection are maintained by any affiliates and subsidiaries which are recipients of your information.
If at any time, Labaiik is required by a law or a court or a government authority to share Data with them, Labaiik will be under an obligation to comply with such requirements. Labaiik may also share the Data with relevant law enforcement agencies in case it becomes necessary for detecting and preventing against actual or potential occurrence of identity theft, fraud, abuse of Services and other illegal acts, or responding to claims that an advertisement, posting, or other content violates the intellectual property rights of a third party.
Since our App deals extensively with the exchange of information, Labaiik understands how vital it is to safeguard that information, and for this purpose, Labaiik has put in place strong security protocols.
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Labaiik will send you a One-Time Password (OTP) that enables you to create your profile account on our App. You are responsible for keeping this OTP confidential. Labaiik asks you not to share this temporary OTP with anyone. Once your profile account is active and operational, you are required to keep your account password confidential and not share it with anyone.
Once Labaiik has received your information, it will use reasonable procedures and security features to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way.
Labaiik has put in place reasonable procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator when it is legally required to do so.
For constant improvement and upgradation of our Services, and to enhance your user experience with time, Labaiik would need to retain the Data. Data retention is also important for the purpose of keeping a record of the use of our App by the users. In order to retain the Data in a secure manner, Labaiik has put reasonable safety measures in place as per the standard industry practice. We will only keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for.
By creating and signing up for an account on our App, you are opting in to receive emails from us, which may be commercial emails, administrative notices, service notices, or legal notices.
If you wish to discontinue using our App, Labaiik provides you the option of deleting your account at any time. After the deletion of your account, Labaiik will delete your personal information from its systems. However, law might require us to keep some basic information about you including payments made for the orders, identity data, etc. In such conditions, we are bound to comply with laws and if we do so, we will keep the minimum possible data and for the shortest possible time in a secure manner as prescribed by law.
This Notice might be updated from time to time, and therefore Labaiik requests that you keep yourself informed of any such changes. The date this Privacy Notice was last updated appears at the top.
You have certain rights in relation to the personal data we hold about you as described below.
To exercise any of your rights, please contact our Data Privacy Office by writing an email to: privacy@labaiik.com. Please note that before responding to any requests to exercise your rights, we will require you to provide us with proof of identity and address. We must respond to a request by you to exercise those rights without undue delay and at least within one month (although this may be extended in certain circumstances with prior notification to the requestor).
By accessing or using our App, you acknowledge, agree and consent to the collection, transfer, use, storage, disclosure and sharing of your information under this Notice, to our terms of use and to any updates made to them from time to time.
